Gospellog
We are very excited about this log. Here you will find comments on the gospel books, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We will be recording what the Lord has revealed to us while studying these gospels as we study His Word to learn more about Jesus and to get better aquainted with Him.
There is nothing more important than our relationship with Jesus. Nothing that we can do can get us salvation beside drawing closer to Him and knowing Him (John 17:3). We can strive to be perfect in all we do but, trying to do this without letting the Lord do it in us, all we are doing is becoming "white washed tombs" (Matthew 23:27). That doesn't sound good at all! But neither can we change ourselves, just as a leopard can't change its spots or an Ethiopian his skin (Jeremiah 13:23). But there is good news. The closer we get to Jesus, and the more we watch His beautiful and awesome face, the more He will perfect us and make us like our Father (Matthew 5:48). Isn't that beautiful? Therefore turn to Jesus. Let Him change you and make you like Him, the perfect Man. (Ephesians 4:11-14)
